ENERGY ASSISTANCE BELGIUM IN BRIEF
Energy Assistance asbl/vzw was set up in Belgium in 2001 by employees of Tractebel, Electrabel and Fabricom to share their skills and know-how in the service of humanitarian projects aimed at populations with limited or no access to essential energy services, on all continents.
Today, EA brings together volunteers (both retired and active) from the Group’s energy business sectors and from Belgian network distributors.
BECOME A MEMBER
Over the past 24 years, more than 200 volunteers have taken part in field missions in 47 countries. Numerous volunteers also support our association through their regular or one-off actions, in many more administrative areas such as accounting, legal affairs, communications, translations, etc.
