In Kinzala, DRC, close to the border with Angola, a new health center has been built by the Congolese non-profit organization IPDI Kitemo, which asked Energy Assistance for help with electrification. The old, outdated dispensary dated back to colonial times.
<\/p>

Our 3 volunteers Dominique T., Vincent M. and Goyan L. were warmly welcomed to the sound of local drums.
<\/p>

During this mission, the health center was equipped with 10 solar panels and a 4300 W system, providing lighting and a power outlet in each room, as well as a fridge for storing vaccines and medicines.v<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Thanks to this installation, the nursing staff (around ten people, including 3 nurses) can now offer better quality care, day and night, to the 10,000 inhabitants of the village and surrounding villages. And the lighting has brought joy to some children who had never seen anything like it!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The many difficulties on the road and the long hours on impassable tracks to reach the village did not hinder the good mood and energy of our 3 volunteers in carrying out this wonderful mission!<\/p>
