The project consists of the installation of biodigesters coupled with bio-toilets in 18 schools in 12 Brazilian states.
The gas produced is used to supply the schools’ kitchens and the digestate from the biodigester are used for the school’s vegetable crops or distributed to populations with crops nearby.
Beneficiaries:
⇨ Phase 1 : 9 schools. As of today, 5/9 biodigesters installed
⇨ Phase 2 : 9 other schools for beginning 2024
